Global Geospatial Initiative
In an effort to assist emerging, and disaster-stricken, economies and NGOs, to more effectively enter the global marketplace, The Gadfly Project (TGP) is introducing its Global Geospatial Initiative (GGI). This program will make cutting edge geo-based technologies available, at a fraction of the cost, to regions and nations that cannot budget the prohibitive costs of implementing such systems.
TGP provides the services and training that will allow these entities to develop new geographical information systems (GIS), web maps, and geo-management practices. This is made possible by the generous donations of leading industry suppliers and numerous professional volunteers. These systems will provide the basis to manage public works, natural resources, infrastructure, taxes, and census, to name a few.
